Impact Stories
Rebuilding Community, Restoring Hope
After a series of devastating floods displaced dozens of families in Northern Samar, CEI partnered with local leaders to launch a Community Recovery and Empowerment project. Together, we facilitated participatory planning sessions, mobilized resources, and helped rebuild homes and livelihoods. Beyond restoring physical structures, we rebuilt trust, cooperation, and resilience—proving that when communities lead their own recovery, lasting change takes root.
From Job Seeker to Job Creator
James, a young father, struggled to find stable work after years of underemployment. Through CEI’s Job Training and Business Development programs, he gained technical and financial management skills that helped him start a small construction service. Today, James employs five people from his neighborhood, offering fair wages and steady income. His success story reflects CEI’s belief that empowering one person can uplift an entire community.
